The holidays are always special in Kailua-Kona, but there’s something magical about the season when the community comes together right here along Ali‘i Drive. Palm trees sway, ocean breezes roll in, lights sparkle over the water… and Kona Heaven is right in the heart of it all.

Whether you're strolling with a cold brew in hand, meeting friends for a holiday outing, or settling in to watch the sunset before the parades begin, we’ve got a cozy spot for you all season long.

Here’s what’s happening in our neighborhood:

December 7 @ 1–6PM — Kokua Kailua Village Stroll

Where: Ali‘i Drive

One of Kona’s favorite monthly traditions turns festive in December! Wander Ali‘i Drive as vendors, artists, food stands, and local shops line the street. It’s the perfect afternoon to grab an iced coffee, do a little local shopping, and enjoy the music and holiday energy filling the village.

December 7 @ 6PM — Lighted Boat Parade

Where: Ali‘i Drive

Right after the Stroll wraps up, the party heads to the water. Watch as boats decorated in bright lights cruise across Kailua Bay — a uniquely Kona way to ring in the season. Stop by Kona Heaven beforehand for a warm drink to enjoy while you watch the parade drift by.

December 7 @ 4–5PM — Kailua Kalikimaka Holiday Concert

Where: Ali‘i Drive

Live music, holiday cheer, and oceanfront scenery — it doesn’t get much better than that. Kona’s annual Kalikimaka concert brings the community together with festive performances that set the perfect tone for the rest of the night’s events.

December 13 @ 5:30PM — Kailua-Kona Christmas Parade

Where: Ali‘i Drive

One of Kona’s most cherished traditions, the annual Christmas Parade features decorated floats, community groups, marching bands, keiki performers, and holiday displays that showcase the spirit of Kailua-Kona. To support parade-goers, Kona Heaven will be open until 7:30pm on December 13th. Stop in before or after the parade for your favorite drink or a moment to unwind.

Kona Heaven Is Your Holiday Home Base

Whether you’re joining one event or all of them, we’re right here on Ali‘i to fuel your festive weekend. Stop by for:

• Cold brew for your stroll
• A warm peppermint mocha before the parade
• A refreshing iced latte as you walk the waterfront
• A place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the season

The holidays feel a little sweeter with good coffee and good company — and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Happy Holidays from the Kona Heaven ‘ohana!
See you on Ali‘i Drive!
