Kona Heaven is our boutique, family-run coffee farm and Cafe in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. For generations, we’ve grown and crafted 100% Kona coffee at 2,000 feet above the Kona coast, where the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Hualālai and natural weather cycles create a greenhouse-like environment. These unique microclimates in the Kona Coffee Belt make this one of the best places in the world to grow coffee in Kona.
The journey begins high in the Kona Coffee Belt, where our coffee plants thrive in rich volcanic soil, warm tropical mornings, and misty afternoon shade. After three years of careful nurturing, the trees produce ripe cherries that we hand-pick with care—a labor of love that ensures only the finest beans are selected.
Our seed-to-cup process continues at our on-site wet and dry mill, where we separate, ferment, and sun-dry the beans on traditional hoshidana decks. Once milled, hulled, and sorted, our Master Roaster transforms each harvest into small-batch roasts, balancing subtle bitters, earthy sweetness, and delicate acidity. The result is coffee that truly reflects the land it comes from.
